September 2025 The all familiar counter clockwise roadtrip.
Sunday September 14, 2025
First of our two scheduled fall road trips started today. We departed Myrtle Beach promptly at nine this morning, sounds easy but doesn’t account for all the preparations we did last week. Our destination for today is Martinsville, Virginia, we arrived at about 1:30 for a travel time of 4 ½ hours. We are parked in site 64 at Indian Heritage RV Park which is located on the south side of town and will be here for two nights.

We will be here for two nights, tomorrow we will go to the Bray Family Cemetery to do a couple small tasks, more on that later. We will also do an inspection so any needed work can be scheduled for a later date.
Our Starlink internet is up and running, the new tripod mount I made for it was easy to set up and is secure to the ground. In the past I found if I used the Starlink tilt base on the ground the heat of the electronics attracted ants. I don’t think they could get into the inner working of the antenna, but it was a pain to get them out of all the nooks and cranny’s when I was putting it away.

Other than going to Captain Tom’s Seafood Restaurant for dinner we are just resting today, Millie frowns on me working on Sundays. This was a totally new concept to me that Millie introduced when we first met. It took me a long time to adjust to it.
